Terms of use
Last updated: July 14, 2026
By using Chorely you agree to these terms. Read them calmly, they're written to be clear, not to trap you.
Who we are
Chorely is operated by Giovanni Molina, a natural person domiciled in Ireland ("we", "us", "Chorely"). These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without prejudice to any consumer protection rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your own country of residence.
What Chorely is
Chorely is an app for splitting and organizing household chores among the people who live in the same space. Each home has a 6-character invite code valid for 7 days and a limit of 6 members on the free plan.
Minimum age
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Chorely account.
Your account
- You must give truthful information when creating your account.
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity that happens under your account.
- You can only have one active home per account at a time.
- You must tell us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Acceptable use
Don't use Chorely to invite people outside your actual home, to harass other housemates, to attempt unauthorized access to Chorely's accounts or systems, or for any illegal purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate this.
Content you create
The chores, home names, and other content you create remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and show them to the other members of your home, which is how the app works. You're responsible for ensuring that content doesn't infringe third-party rights or the law.
The free plan
Today Chorely is free, with the limits described in the app (1 home per account, up to 6 members). We may introduce additional plans in the future; if that happens, we'll notify you before it affects you.
Service availability and disclaimer of warranties
Chorely is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep it running without interruptions, but we don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This doesn't affect any right that the law of your country grants you on a mandatory basis and that can't be excluded by contract.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chorely and its operator won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from the use or inability to use the app. Our total liability to you for any claim related to Chorely is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim (currently $0, as it's a free service). Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot be legally excluded, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Chorely against any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the app or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Cancellation
You can delete your account whenever you want from the app's settings. We can also suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, notifying you by email when possible.
Dispute resolution
If you have an issue, write to us first at[email protected] so we can try to resolve it directly. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any dispute that isn't resolved directly will be subject to the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to your right, if you reside in the European Union, to bring proceedings before the courts of your own country of residence under any consumer protection rules that apply to you.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll notify you inside the app before they take effect.
